Salty Sea Dog is the 1st side mission in Act 6 of the single player campaign.
Objective[edit]
Victory: Destroy the Outlaw's Stronghold.
Defeat: Caesar is defeated or his Stronghold is destroyed.

Story[edit]
13th August, The Great Ocean
Shortly before Mercia's army sets out to sea, Caesar encounters--once again--the outlaws harassing local villagers, this time using warships to take them down.
With the outlaws defeated, and thoroughly out of remaining motivation, they come to realise the failures in their banditry. They decide to head back home, and look back to their old goals. Paul to go back and open his haberdashry, with Greg helping out. Meanwhile Neil plans to go back into accounting. Though their dishonest livings have been truly quelled by the fluffy tyrant, they look instead to how they could move forward in their lives... Now they just need to find a boat home.

Outlaw 1: Grrr! Give us yer treasure!
Outlaw 2: Hah! Did you just growl at him?
Outlaw 1: Shush! I'm trying to sound intimidatin'. Don't undermine me!
Villager: L-Look, really, we don't have any treasure! I swear!
Outlaw 1: But what about the 'Bounty of the Sea'?!
Outlaw 2: I don't think that means buried treasure...
Outlaw 2: I think it's more to do with oceanic ecology and healthy biodiversity...
Outlaw 2: ...And by extension the notion of living off the land. Or waves, in this case.
Outlaw 3: Soo, conservation and sustainable living?
Villager: We... We do have a pretty well respected turtle sanctuary...
Outlaw 1: I don't care about turtle sanctuaries!
Outlaw 1: Do you mean we traipsed all the way out to these islands for nothing?!
Outlaw 1: Why did we even come here?!
Outlaw 3: ...It's a lovely climate
Outlaw 1: FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, WILL YOU--

I think Caesar wants to take to the sea!

Villager: Thanks for all your help, Mr. Dog!
Villager: Let's find you a treat!

Outlaw 1: We're not very good at this.
Outlaw 2: Not very good at what?
Outlaw 1: At THIS. At being outlaws.
Outlaw 3: No. He's right. We're rubbish.
Outlaw 1: Think about it. Ev'ry time we get set up, that dog comes along and ruins everything.
Outlaw 1: Traditionally, that's not the sort of thing that happens in a well-oiled, streamlined enterprise.
Outlaw 3: We went into this to make gold, be we're haemorrhaging funds!
Outlaw 1: Never mind funds - I'm black and blue all over! I'm tired of gettin' beaten up by a dog.
Outlaw 2: But think o' the good times! The freedom! We make our own hours, we take time off at the drop of a hat!
Outlaw 3: ...Greg. You're kidding yerself.
Outlaw 1: I just want to do somethin' I'm good at again.
Outlaw 3: I think I'm going to go back into accounting.
Outlaw 1: You should, Neil. You were a great accountant.
Outlaw 1: I'M going to open the haberdashery back up.
Neil: Congratulations! It's tough to admit when you've made poor choices...
Neil: But embracin' that fact and deciding to try somethin' else - that's very brave. It's commendable.
Outlaw 1: I agree, Neil. Congratulations to you too. I'm very proud o' the both of us.
Neil: Now, we need to find a boat home.
Outlaw 1: The port's this way!
Greg: ...Paul - can I come and work at the haberdashery?
