Surrounded is the sixth map in Puzzle mode.
Objective[edit]
Defeat Valder in a single turn.
Map[edit]
Mercia begins the mission with her Groove fully charged, allowing her heal all allies in a large radius.
Strategy[edit]
Hint: The Giant won't perform a critical hit if healed.
This puzzle can be completed in several ways. At first, it may seem like using Mercia's Groove, Healing Aura, is a necessity, but it isn't. Simply rushing Valder down while making use of the critical hits available to you, then finishing him off with Mercia, is an option. Otherwise, aim to heal the northern four units.
Moves (No Healing Aura):
- The Giant moves to critical attack Valder and is defeated
- Southern Pikeman moves up to critical attack Valder
- Alchemist moves into the Forest tile south of Valder and critical attacks him
- Any other unit attacks Valder
- Mercia attacks Valder and defeats him (Mercia will have to attack in this strategy)
Moves (With Healing Aura):
- Mercia moves northeast into the spot where Healing Aura will reach the four northern units (the Ranger, the Alchemist, the Pikeman, and the Knight)
- The Giant moves to critical attack Valder and is defeated
- The eastern Knight moves to critical attack Valder
- The Alchemist moves into the Forest tile south of Valder and critical attacks him
- Anybody else attacks Valder and defeats him
