Puzzle is a single player mode which requires that the player wins the match in only one turn. It requires careful movement of units, and if the player's turn ends the match is lost.[1]. Many of the missions require the player to move units to specific locations, in certain sequences, to allow for key opportunities, to achieve a narrow goal. There is no consequences for failure, so the player can spend as much time as they like experimenting and thinking to find a solution.
Puzzle mode is unlocked after completing Act 3 in the Main Campaign.
Each puzzle awards a Star 
when completed, for a total of 25 stars.
Though not always available, some puzzles provide multiple different solutions, or have methods for 'skipping' components of the puzzle.

Custom Puzzles[edit]
Custom community-made puzzles can be downloaded from the Custom Content browser. Any downloaded puzzles will be displayed on the puzzles list at the bottom of the selection. There is no reward for completing custom puzzles, but they offer additional content with more diverse difficulty ranges and mechanics.
