Story[edit]
15th July, Sizzlepalm Forest
As Mercia's army makes its way through Heavensong, Ryota approaches Nuru to apologise for his prejudiced attacks on her as a Floran. Though Nuru is hesitent to listen at first, Ryota explains his encounter with Sedge some months ago.
It turns out, Sedge found his way towards the Heavensong border some time ago. His goal was only to hunt and kill humans, and despite Ryota's efforts, he was defeated and his men were slaughtered by the savage Floran beast. It would seem this is why Ryota was so hostile to Nuru before, but after realising the error of his ways, Nuru forgives him, and the two set their problems aside.
Strategy[edit]
In this map you have an economic advantage. The enemy starts with a tower and will quickly recruit an Aeronaut on the second turn to go after you. The enemy will always have an income advantage and it will be difficult to gain a foothold into the enemy base if you are too aggressive. The tower to the top left can be completely ignored because the units in it are too expensive and would be better spent recruiting Mages to counter enemy air units. The quickest way to clear this map is to draw Ryota away from his base, generally by having him perform his groove to dash right into your base or placing weak units for him to chase. When he is inside of your base you can quickly surround him with cheap units and recapture any villages that you lose, so that it has to be taken out before they can move away from it. If you are lucky enough to bait him into your base you can clear the map in under a dozen turns earning an S rank.
Dialogue[edit]
I hope deeply that you, Nuru, can forgive my misguided prejudice.
I have only met one of your kind before.
Sedge?! I'm nothing like that creeper!!
How do you even know that jerk?
I met him several months ago...

- Back in the present...
Sorry, Ryota. That sounds horrible.
It was a crushing defeat by a villainous foe...
Clearly the memory of it has marred my judgement.
Well, Sedge can leave quite an impression.
That was no reason for me to... I apologise without reservation.
I won't let myself be so blinded again.
Now I know you, I have nothing but the deepest respect for you, Hunter Nuru.
