Map[edit]
When Emeric enters the marked zone in the North-West, the two Golems will automatically join the player's team. However, you cannot recruit giants manually, making them a limited resource.
For the first 5 turns, Koji will only use two of his three barracks. From turn 6, the third barracks, and his tower, will become usable, allowing him to recruit Air units and additional Ground units.
Story[edit]
12th July, Dragon's Graveyard
Facing the Prince of Heavensong, Koji, on his battle puppet, Emeric inquires into it, and suggests fighting Koji to test his skills in battle. Though Ryota can see there is no need for a fight, Koji is all too ready to defend Heavensong on behalf of his mother.
After the fight, Empress Tenri makes her entrance, and reveals Mercia and Emeric to be allies of Heavensong, prompting the surprise of Koji and Ryota. After sharing their apologies for the hostilities, Tenri promises passage and sailors--Emeric knows them to be "Merfolk", the most skilled sailors available--and has Koji join Mercia's group, in the hopes he'll be an asset to defeating Valder, and represent his empire.
In private, Emeric enquires into the nature of Requiem. Though she knows it only as a myth, Tenri is familiar with it being an instrument of destruction, and knows if it does exist, it cannot be allowed to fall into the wrong hands.
Strategy[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
So you're Koji? The Empress's son?
And I suppose this battle puppet must be 'Tenko'.
I mean, Yes! I'm Prince Koji, and this is Tenko!
And we won't let you anywhere near my mom!
Haha. Valient and bold, just like your mother.
But do you possess her skill in battle?
You'll... You'll have to fight me to find out!
Introduction Dialogue
Hmm... How fortuitous - they're still here...
These old Golems. Your father and I used to train with these when we visited Heavensong.
They're incredibly powerful constructs with a Cherrystone at their core.
Though their magical charge obviously hasn't been maintained...
If I can get close, I can revitalise them and bring them under my control.
Emeric reaches Golems
- (Golems join Emeric's team)
Just as strong as they ever were! Let's put them to good use!
Golem reaches midddle section of map
Woah! Those things look a bit like Tenko.
Er... I mean, your magic is no match for Heavensong engineering!
Emeric's units reach inside walls
Ah! Get out of here! What will mom think!
Emeric has Giants while Koji has Dragons
Mighty as they may be, our Golems are not equipped to fight flying units.
We must provide some anti-air support as we move them forward, or risk losing them.
Golem is defeated
Second Golem is defeated
With no Golems left, we must be especially cautious.
Defeated Koji or his Stronghold is destroyed
A well fought battle on both sides!
Emeric is defeated or his Stronghold is destroyed
You did very well for one so young.
Even though you won, I still won't surrender! You're my enemy!
- (Enter Tenri and Lionblades)
We're old friends - and older allies.
Please forgive me, Your Eminence, I thought...
I was wrong. Of course a queen so fair could not commit acts so foul...
I'm real sorry too. I shouldn't have attacked you.
I made my way here when news reached us that you might be crossing the border.
I am sorry I did not get here sooner.
My son. He is a talented Commander.
But sometimes he puts heart before head.
I know of your situation, and you have my allegiance.
I assume your intention is to destroy the Fell Gauntlet in order to defeat Lord Valder?
We can supply you with soldiers, sailors and ships enough to make passage to Felheim.
Our ships will meet you at our southernmost port.
So our fleet will be crewed by Merfolk - the most able of sailors.
Faced with the combined strength of our two nations, Valder will surely fall.
But as you must realise, while the continent is in such turmoil...
...I am unable to abandon Heavensong.
So instead my son will be accompanying you on your campaign.
He will learn much from you, I am sure. And in turn, you will benefit greatly from his skills.
The might of Heavensong stands with you.
