The Turning Tides is the eighth map in puzzle mode.
Objective[edit]
Defeat Nuru in a single turn.
Map[edit]
Mercia begins the mission with her Groove fully charged, allowing her heal all allies in a large radius.
Strategy[edit]
Hint: Nuru's guards must be taken down!
Unlike the sixth Puzzle map (Surrounded), this one really does hinge on using Mercia's Healing Aura properly. Nuru starts off surrounded, but must be attacked by four units to be defeated.
Moves:
- Knight moves down to attack and defeat the Quagmutt from the north
- Mercia moves south, then uses Healing Aura so it heals the southern Pikeman, the Golem, and the southern Battlepup
Defeating the Stabber
- Southern Swordsman moves east to attack the Stabber from the south
- Ranger moves south to attack the Stabber
- Harpy moves south to attack the Stabber from the north
- Northern Pikeman moves south to attack and defeat the Stabber
Defeating the Greenguard
- Alchemist moves north to critical the Greenguard from the north
- Southern Piekman moves north to attack the Greenguard from the south
Defeating Nuru
- Knight moves northeast to critical Nuru
- Golem moves west to attack Nuru from the south
- Northern Battlepup moves south to attack Nuru
- Southern Battlepup moves north to critical Nuru and defeat her
