This category contains subcategories and pages related to in-game background images used during combat. To add an article, image, or category to this category, append [[Category:Combat Backgrounds]] to the end of the page.

Note all files are named based on the following convention: 

Battlescreen_[Biome]_[Terrain].png

These images include the combat background, and foreground decorations that may not be present in cutscenes using the same background.

Note some images may have unusual seams or small artifacts, this is due to the in-game user interfacing often covering up these elements, the visuals shown are as close to the original in-game graphics as possible.

Not all terrain types have combat animations, due to being unusable in combat. For example Lava River, which cannot be used (aerial units above lava simply use Volcano Sky).
